Java Junction is a local, family owned and operated coffee and juice shop in Santa Cruz, CA. Java Junction has been a staple of coffee lovers in Santa Cruz for 15 years and continues to improve itself to better serve the needs of coffee lovers everywhere.

We specialize in roasting and serving the highest quality organic coffees and espresso beans we can find. We have an extensive menu full of the most elaborate espresso drinks one could think up, fruit and espresso smoothies, sandwiches, bagels, pastries and variety of other snacks.

From scratch we whip our own whip cream, make all of our specialty bagel schmears, and make your food to order as you order it. We carry 30, sometimes more, different Toranni flavorings so you can pick the right flavor for your mood of the day.


A little Java Junction History...

Java Junction is a local Santa Cruz family-owned and operated coffee and juice shop that started in 1992. The first Java Junction store was envisioned and opened by Michael Spadafora, the current owner of Java Junction. The goal was to provide Santa Cruz with an excellent cup of high quality coffee. The flagship store is located on Seabright Avenue. Seven years later the River Street store was opened in the newly formed Gateway Plaza Shopping Center.

In addition to the Java Junction store front locations, there is a wholesale roasting business. Whole Bean Roasting Company offers the wide variety of hand roasted specialty organic coffees served at the store front locations. There is a combined thirty-five years of experience among the roasters in this part of the business.
